I was lucky enough to chat with Jocelyn Steiber of @Chicandsweaty who will be teaching Yoga this Sunday at 5pm

TFL: Tell us about your Yoga Journey / Experience

JS: Movement has been a part of my life since I was 3, as I was a classically trained ballet dancer.  I shifted from dance to yoga in my early 20s and fell in love with the mind, body and spirit aspect of it.   Yoga changed my life and after practicing it for 8 years I wanted to share the practice with other people.
TFL: What are you most excited about for “Yoga in the Vines”?
JS: The setting!  I took classes there last summer and I felt like I was in a dream. It’s quite magical to flow surrounded by such a beautiful vineyard.  You hear the birds chirp, smell the freshly cut grass and feel the warm sun on your face — there’s nothing like practicing yoga in nature.
TFL: What type of experience do our travelers need for this Yoga class?
JS: No experience necessary.  I will be focusing on a Vinyasa style connecting breath with movement.
TFL: Do you have a favorite stretch or flow to do while traveling?
JS: I always travel with a yoga mat so I can break out yoga anywhere I go.  Yes, I’m that girl doing yoga in an airport during layovers from long flights. My favorite stretch is pretty basic but since you are often in cramped spaces, I love doing neck stretches.
Also, fast vinyasa is my favorite as it gets my blood flowing.
