I was so excited to take Mahri’s class. Unlike most dance workouts where you build on a combination, Body Conceptions just keeps you moving. No need to worry about remembering anything, you just follow along!!! I was smiling, sweating and burning during this hour long dance and toning workout.

TravelFitLOVE: Some studios can be intimidating, especially when it comes to dance but the class energy was great!! Mahri was so warm and inviting – her smile led us through dancing the whole time! This is a great class for people that just like to move and have fun. Beginners are able to just follow along and there’s no pressure to memorize sequences (or try and be ‘sexy’) The toning aspect of class is built throughout the dance songs. This was a great way to mix up the muscles.

Additional Thoughts: The class is hosted in a rental studio space. So, there are no showers if you’re rushing off somewhere. If you like a ‘performance’ aspect of a dance workout, this may not be the best option for you. But hey, no ones watching, so you do you girl. With that said, while men are welcomed, this seems like a female focused class.
