Working out with these views with @Thepackoutdoor
@Thepackoutdoor is an awesome small group fitness class located on the LIC waterfront. (With a central park location too). If you like the combination of strength training and light cardio, this is a great option for you – in addition to dumbbells, ropes and kettlebells, the waterfront turf is used as a running track for warm-up and cardio intervals, revving up your heart rate during class. Aside from @sebastian_fitness being an incredible coach and motivating instructor, the views of New York City can’t be beat! While the weather is still nice, be sure to check out the class.
travelfitLOVE: Love a workout before the workday? This is a great option with amazing views. I love seeing the sun over the east river and starting my summer day with a sweat. The class is geared towards all levels which is great! It’s a wonderful option for neighborhood locals.
Additional Thoughts: Please note that there are no facilities for this class. If the park bathrooms are open, you can use those (open around 7:30am/8am) but there are no showers. For those that don’t like working out in the cold, I would suggest trying this class once the weather becomes warm again
