If cardio, strength training and pilates had a baby…. this is @SLTNYC


I consider myself pretty strong….until I get on the megaformer.  SLT (strengthen, lengthen, tone) is a 50 minute workout where you will feel muscles that you never knew existed!!  The megaformer is a lagree method machine (comparable to a pilates reformer) which the low impact exercises are designed around.   The constant tension from springs and instability from the carriage will have your core engaged and muscles shaking. It is well worth checking out!

TravelFitLove: Even though my body is shaking and burning during the workout, I know that it is effective and that I am only going to get stronger from this type of class. I love the soreness I get after a day or two.  This class is great for both men and women and I really encourage guys to try it too!  It is a great low impact class that will still have you sweating and feel for days after…..  February 14-19th SLT is offering a FREE class to new clients.  Email me and we will go together!

Additional Thoughts: This class can seem intimidating but after a few times, you will get the hang of the machine.  It’s actually amazing to see how many different things you can do with it. They don’t have showers so prepare accordingly.  While SLT has an incredible following (and sold out classes), it is probably one of the more expensive classes in the fitness scene.  Be sure to check out their first timer class for $20 or FREE CLASS February 14-19th.
